Abbey Allen Photography. "Van Scoys Lilypads" Northwest Woods, East Hampton, NY. Van Scoys pond is located in the Grace Estates in Northwest Woods, East Hampton. Every fall the lilypads open and the entire pond is covered in them. My sister and I rowed a kyack out into the pond shortly after sunrise where I shot an entire series of lilypad photos. A lot of the shots from this outing have been published in The East Hampton Star.
